When?

Pålsjöterrängen takes place august 5, 2017.

Entry

How do i register?

Registration will open on april 1st. You make your registration under the bar called Anmälan in the top menu.

Last day of registration

Last day to make your registration is july 30, 23:59. It is possible to make a last minute registration, to an increased fee, during the competition day which will be open until 30 minutes before your start time. More info below…

Entry fee

Entry fee is 200:- for adults and 150:- for children and youths up to 20 years old, students and seniors (65+). You pay your entry fee to Helsingborgs SOKs PlusGiro: 105306-5. The payment must be completed before july 30. If the payment is not completed in time the entry is not completed.

Last minute entry

The entry fee is raised with 50:- on all normal fees. It is possible to make the last minute entry at Helsingborgs SOKs club house at friday the 5 of august between 17.00 and 19.00 where you also can receive your number bibs. It is also possible to make the entry at the competition day from 9.30 until 30 minutes before your starting time. We accept both cash and card as payment.

Number bibs

All competitors must wear huber bibs. The number bibs is receivable during friday the 4 of august between 17.00 and 19.00 and during the competition day from 9.00 until 30 minutes before your starting time.

Competition classes

Pålsjöterrängen is divided in four classes.

  • Women 5 km (Kvinnor 5 km)
  • Women 10 km (Kvinnor 10 km)
  • Men 5 km (Män 5 km)
  • Men 10 km (Män 10 km)

Start

10:00 is the starting time for Pålsjöterrängen 5 km.

11:00 is the starting time for Pålsjöterrängen 10 km.

Your number bibs is handed out until 10.15 (5 km) or until 11.00 (10 km)

Timing

A digital timing system is to be used.

The course

The course is clearly marked through the whole course. There is also volunteers at tricky parts and road crossings where traffic can occur. When these roads are crossed we ask all competitors to be careful and have a lookout for oncoming cars and other vehicles. For this years competition we aim to have more volunteers at more spots around the course. Competitors is on other hand responsible to follow the corse correctly. Deliberate or non deliberate deviation from the course is not allowed and causes immediate disqualification.

The surface is mainly gravel and untrodden terrain. There is however a much small part with asphalt. A map with an overview is to be found in the menu above.

There is an test run planed during the month of july. More information is coming when the date nears.

Water

Water will be found after ca. 2.5/7,5 km and and after 5 km for those who run in the 10 km classes. There is also water at the start/finish area free to consume.

WC/Shower

There is toilets free to use near the start/finish area. Showers are also available but be cause of limited space we will sell 50 tickets to the shower for 20 kr for one ticket and is payed with cash at the competition office. First come first served. There is also a perfect beach within 5 minutes walking.

Competition center

The competition center is located next to Pålsjö castle in the northern part of Helsingborg.

Please use public transport if this is possible for you. Citybus number 8 towards Domsten stops at Pålsjöbaden which is located approximately 600 meters from the competition centre. If you choose to drive we recommend the parking at Thalassa. See Map.

Pukes Sport will be at the competition are to sell most of their stocked goods. Please visit their website.

Other important information

All participation is on the competitors own risk. We do NOT recommend you to participate if you have any major health issues. Do not hesitate to consult a doctor before participating.
